Enjoy Nashville’s Finest Fall Festivals & Events

In the fall, Nashville comes alive with exciting events. From celebrations of music festivals to celebrations of the autumn season and everything in between, there’s an event for every interest. Here’s a list of some of the biggest upcoming fall events:

Experience Music in the Music City

They call Nashville the Music City for a reason; musical talent is abundant here. While Nashville is synonymous with country music, you can frequently hear rock, gospel, and other genres as well. You can find fantastic live music throughout the city on a daily basis, and in many cases, it’s free at the local honky-tonks.

Nashville’s most famous music venue is the Grand Ole Opry, which is nearing 100 years old. The Grand Ole Opry is the premier destination for country music fans; countless legends have graced the stage over the years. You can typically find a rocking concert at the Grand Ole Opry from Tuesday through Sunday.

Attend a Game

All of Nashville looks forward to the fall when the local football and hockey teams begin to play, and you can get in on the fun by attending a game. The Tennessee Titans, the city’s NFL team, play at Nissan Stadium. The open-air stadium allows attendees to enjoy the crisp fall weather while also cheering on the home team with nearly 70,000 other fans.

For hockey fanatics, checking out a Nashville Predators game is a must. The atmosphere at Bridgestone Arena is phenomenal and features quirky fan traditions like throwing catfish on the ice. Even if you aren’t a fan of the Titans or Predators, attending a game is still a blast.

Indulge in Nashville’s Signature Dish

If you’re feeling a little cool from Nashville’s fall climate, there’s an easy way to warm up: Nashville hot chicken. Today, you can find Nashville hot chicken throughout the U.S., but nowhere does it better than Nashville. Nashville hot chicken originated nearly 100 years ago in Nashville at Prince’s Hot Chicken Shack, but you can find it in countless restaurants around the city. Be warned; this dish can be quite spicy, so be prepared to deal with some heat.
